The Final IE3 Conference has just started at the Rectorate of the Polytechnic University of Bari. The first speeches were by the Rector, Prof. Francesco Cupertino, and the Head of the Department of Mechanics, Mathematics and Management, Prof. Giuseppe Carbone, who greeted and thanked the audience participating in attendance and online through the POLIBA YouTube channel.
Then, Prof. Mummolo, who coordinated the project for the first eighteen months, and Prof. Mossa, who has been the coordinator since then, have been introducing the IE3 project.
The conference is being taken in the beautiful and solemn venue of the Rectorate of the Polytechnic of Bari. The institution, indeed, that has coordinated the IE3 project, strongly believes that value of the efforts and consequent results deserves serious and focused approach to the topic. POLIBA and the other University partners, within constraints forced by budget availability, will keep on adopting the IE3 outputs struggling to update the results beyond the project lifetime and this event is to state this new phase of the project lifetime.
