One of the main objectives of an Erasmus project is to spread out the results as wide as possible in order to reach the target groups that have been devised in the project proposal. This aim becomes even more relevant in a world vexed by the COVID-19 pandemic, and that is going to strive to restart with normal life. Achieving outcomes by means of exploiting project results, in fact, can be a huge opportunity to establish new baselines for socio-economic goals. And the extraordinary amount of funds that have been allocated to the “Recovery plan” issued by the European Commission, will finance projects tailored to buttress initiatives to implement societal goals based on sustainability purposes.
In the wake of that context, IE3 represents a paramount opportunity to build-up an European community of new and old engineers able to exchange good practices in the view of convergent objectives, in order to give rise to homogeneous developments towards the nascent and desired socio-economic goals. It indeed enables students, academics and other stakeholder categories to get out of the restricted dimension(s) that might characterize their daily job-life, thus offering the opportunity of a lifelong learning and practice exchange and, nonetheless, keep in vouge a debate at European level at least.
